Comments: Despite the alloy chassis, the car is very heavy. The quite poor launch is partly attributed to this. As soon as the clutch grips fully, the revs drop, and there's not enough power to move the weight fast. Maybe a clutchkiller slip would help to do a better ET, but not many times before clutch wear will prevent hard launch, so we didn't try it.
The quite linear torque is apparent in 2nd gear, as the acceleration is quite level throughout the rev range.
The car just about reach the 1/4 mile finish line in 3rd gear, having hit the limiter about 60 feet beforehand.
