The race's star, the Master Of Desaster Pro Mod from Germany couldn't really show its true potential on the slippy track, but nevertheless it was quite a good show. Several Hungarian pros were missing from the race, but those who came had a good day's racing on the ex US military airport's dusty concrete track. And those, who weren't there can watch the best runs and the finals on this 20 minutes long video.

Many impressive qualifying runs, and all the finals bar the bye runs.
No podium ceremonies though, as there was no lighting... :(

A 9 minutes long video focusing on Krivan Dezsoe's Top Methanol Funny Car show runs at Tököl Airport. I even did a short interview with him.
The clip also includes some of the street classes' finals.
As I was racing too, I couldn't record everything.

Unfortunately the bad weather made its mark on the race. There were virtaully no crowd, and the field of racers was thin as well. Apart from the AWD cars everyone was struggling for grip.
The 8 minutes long video now only contains the finals, but I managed to put it in a short frame as usual. :)

22 minutes from the 2006 season's last race at Tököl. Patriot Jet dragster, a V8 powered Barkas, an 11second Opel Astra, two fast onboard camera runs and the all the runs from the finals.

SRobi's car got nice a sequential gearstick conversion for the first race of the year. It's operated just like a real sequential box, pull for an upshift, push for changing down a gear, but the actual gearbox is the same H pattern. The sequential movement is converted to match the H's pattern by a complex mechanical arrangement. It's a nice toy. ;)
