This polish CRX is a fine example of all motor tuning. Krysio had already finished his qualification, but agreed to make one more run to have this log made. To save his tires, he didn't do a burnout before the run. Thus the offical time of 11.83 @ 196 is surpri-singly good compared to his best on the day (11.78) The log matches the official time quite well if the rollout is set to 8". This means there was quite a bit left in this run, as the theoratical maximum is around 15" in the idenso timing system. Well, let's see the run. The launch is not bad. And then come these incredibly long gears. With the not too peaky power curve the car makes good use of the long gears, reaching the 1320 feet finish line in 3rd! The upshifts are also amazing, sub 200ms! The engine is a hybrid k24/k20, with almost stock heads with Toda cams and ITBs, forged internals, 14:1 static compression ratio, Hondata computer. And it's not a heavy car... His best was ran at Tokol too, this April. (11.29 @ 201)
