1/8 MILE RUNS
In Hungary dragracing is mostly over 1/8 mile, mostly because of the lack of suitable tracks.
Racing is more open this way, distance lost during a bad launch are harder to recover.

The stock engine of the was was a simple, stock 1.6 engine, but now it has the new 2.5T Focus RS engine.

Since it has more modifications on the car. It has higher torbo boost, than the stock, and it has opened exhaust.

The run was nice, because it made good start, and fast shifts. He made a burn out before the start, i think because made he so good start with the warm, street legal tyres.

This is a totally stock Bmw E36 M3 with 3.0l engine. It's not a new car, but it has more power, than the stock. Nice start, fast shifting and the power is rising on the higher rpm, because its a good thing to use this car on that rpm.

2008.08.16.

One of the fastest completely street legal naturally aspirated B16 Civic in Hungary. The launch is very good on the Toyo R888 tires. The power is very high too, the shift points are omewhere near 10500 rpm.
The gearshifts are amazing. Especially the hardest 2nd into 3rd. It took less than 0.13 seconds. That's faster than the Ferrari Enzo's semi-automatic sequential gearbox. Wow! :)

2007.05.31.

A four wheel drive four pot DSM, very far from being finished. The launch is useless, clutch was slipping badly, although it managed to pull a quite high g in the end. The turbocharger is also problematic, being a bit too big. The lag is huge, the useable rev range is quite thin, they have to do something about it. As far as I remember it's a 20G unit, but I'm not sure whether it's a hybrid or not.
It must be fun that as the speedo climbs up the accelerating force is also increasing.

2008.10.19.

This time on Toyo R888 tires. The improvement is largely attributed to the better traction, as in the virtual racing chart (from 70 km/h rolling start) there's only 2 meter difference after 11 seconds of acceleration.
