1/8 MILE RUNS
In Hungary dragracing is mostly over 1/8 mile, mostly because of the lack of suitable tracks.
Racing is more open this way, distance lost during a bad launch are harder to recover.

2005.05.25.

This is the first 1.9 GTI we logged. Not the latest, most powerful version, but the power advantage is clear to see.
The launch is not too bad, but the gearshift into 2nd contains some reserve. There is also a slight hesitation in 3rd gear, but as it's very short there are no noticable losses

2011.10.15.

This is a full stock Ford Mondeo ST200. The stock power is 200 hp and this car get this power still. The engine is a 2.5 V6 24v. The start is not bad, because the weather was a little cool. and the shifts was not bad too. This is a nice, healthy run.

2005.05.20.

It's not very often I see a launch like this. No special rubber or burnout, the very first try and over 0.6 g in first gear! Ok, it's a very short gear, but still. The only downside of the launch that is was quite a soft getaway, it took a few tenths to reach full acceleration. The run is also quite good in the higher gears - power is good from the chipped 1.5 diesel engine.

2011.10.19.

This is a full stock car sith few km, and it can the stock results. The start was not too bad, because this tyres was worn summer tyres. The shifts was good and the turbo lagg was very small. if he has a better start, he get easily the default value.

2007.02.17.

We logged this Passat before, but now it's got new race injection noozles, free flow exhaust and an intercooler. All these help quite a lot! And a new turbo is coming soon!

2005.06.29.

The first gearchange comes very early just above 33 km/h (13 mph). Because of this wheels keep spinning even in 2nd gear for a short time.

2007.04.21.

Very powerful for a 1.9 liter diesel, but the chassis is very heavy, so the acceleration figures are not so nice that they would be in -say- a mk1 Golf.
The launch is below average, the tires keep spinning in the first two gears.

Unfortunately from the three runs we logged, even this, the best leaves some room for improvement. Traction in first is too low, so ET suffers greatly.

2006.05.18.

In the dry we could relog this car, of course the ETs improved a lot. It had good traction, but I don't know such short ratios makes sense or not.
It only just reached 100 km/h in 3rd gear, obviously it helped a bit in the 0-100 sprint compared to the previous run we logged.
