1/8 MILE RUNS

In Hungary dragracing is mostly over 1/8 mile, mostly because of the lack of suitable tracks.
Racing is more open this way, distance lost during a bad launch are harder to recover.

	Launched with a slipping clutch, but it's quite a good start, pulling 0.5g nicely. The usual short tricking gears follow each other nicely, nothing dramatic about this run. What's interesting is that this car should be around 110 HP at the flywheel, and during this run we logged around 110 HP at the wheels! Either the engine is more powerful that it should be, or I forgot to take note of a modded chip or something. Will clarify with owner soon.

	The new year's first logging session welcomed the racers with strong tailwind. CdA values were modified accordingly, so power reading is close to what would it show in normal weather. Of course the ET and trap figures are better than they would be in windstill. The car got a 1.3 8v engine with wild cam, bigger carburettor, electronic ignition and a few other goodies. The hard rear suspension made the start quite "rocky", but the G peak is reasonably good in such cold conditions.
