1/8 MILE RUNS

In Hungary dragracing is mostly over 1/8 mile, mostly because of the lack of suitable tracks.
Racing is more open this way, distance lost during a bad launch are harder to recover.

	Here is FM2000's street legal car. The car has a sport air filter, and modded chip. The car has more power, than the stock. The start was not so good, but it made much better 0-100 result, than the stock.

	The last time we logged this car it was underperforming quite badly. Since then it gained around 10 WHP, which is nice, but I think it's still quite far from what it should do. The launch got better too, on street tires and with this power it's as good as it gets.

	2 liter 8 valve engine. The launch is quite strange, and it wasn't a fluke, the second attempt was very similar, even though the times were worse.

	On paper the engine has 129 HP at the flywheel, but based on this run, it cannot be more than 100. Fairly stock engine, but compression ratio was increased by grinding off 1mm from the cylinder head. I'm not sure if it helped actually. The launch is below average too, the 185/60R14 street tires didn't find much grip until the end of first gear, but still fall short of the reference level of 0.5g. The first gearchange was a bit over cautious following the previous run where he misshifted, but it's not too bad.
