Comments: The new 5 cylinder turbocharged Volvo engine is chipped in this new ST. The car also has a Quaife differential, so it's quite far from stock.
The launch was quite bad, it bogged down in all three attempts, the other two was even worse than this.
It might be caused by the power limit in effect in the first two gears, or maybe a traction control system.
