| Sandor Vogelsinger had a fantastic year so far, but as he is a modest guy he choose to purcase only a Good Year tire set. :D Well, get serious, as this is a very serious run! Officially this run was timed at 10.73 @ 221 km/h. Remember this is on ordinary concrete track, no VHT or anything similar track preparation!! To improve 2 tenths, Sandor took out about 80 kg of ballast, used the huge Good Year tires (see photos). Tail wind was significant too, must have helped a wee bit. The result is nothing sort of astonishing, but the run was far from perfect. Sandor shifted way too early into 3rd gear, speding almost 2 seconds waiting for the engine to come on power. The gearshifts are nothing sort of amazing, 3rd into 4th is less than 0.19 seconds! |
